Computer Support Specialist
E-Logic, Inc. is seeking a Computer Support Specialist for a 6-month assignment supporting Department of Defense (DoD) operations at Fort Bliss, Texas.
The selected candidate will be employed by E-Logic, Inc. and will provide on-site technical support to mission-essential personnel. The position is responsible for troubleshooting hardware, software, network, and user-access issues; maintaining approved systems and configurations; supporting DoD collaboration platforms; and ensuring systems remain secure and operational in accordance with applicable DoD and Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) requirements.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on IT support experience, strong knowledge of Windows-based environments, and the required DoD Information Assurance certification(s).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for Non-Classified Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPRNet) infrastructure and associated DoD-approved devices.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, connectivity, and configuration issues in accordance with applicable DoD security policies and procedures.
- Install and apply approved system patches, updates, configurations, and security updates to maintain system security and integrity.
- Support and administer SharePoint, Microsoft Teams/Air Force Teams, and other DoD-approved collaboration and communication tools.
- Support system upgrades, security updates, configuration changes, and related technical activities in accordance with applicable DISA guidelines and DoD requirements.
- Provide help desk and end-user technical support for assigned personnel and systems.
- Assist users with approved hardware, software, applications, network connectivity, and system-access issues.
- Conduct initial and/or refresher training for personnel on approved systems, applications, and devices, as assigned.
- Monitor and maintain assigned systems to help ensure operational availability, security, and compliance.
- Remain current on applicable Army and Air Force technologies, standards, systems, and infrastructure changes.
- Provide professional and responsive customer service to AFSFC Detachment 3 personnel.
- Perform other IT support duties as assigned in support of the contract and mission requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Active Secret Security Clearance is mandatory.
- CompTIA Security+ CE is required.
- Ability to work fully on-site at Fort Bliss, Texas.
- Working knowledge of Windows operating systems and common hardware/software troubleshooting procedures.
- Knowledge of DoD cybersecurity policies, procedures, and security requirements.
- Familiarity with DoD-approved systems, networks, and information technology environments.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently and provide effective end-user support.
- Strong communication, customer service, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Required / Desired Certifications and Technical Knowledge
- CompTIA Security+ CE - Required
- CompTIA A+ CE - Preferred
- CompTIA Network+ CE - Preferred
- Knowledge of applicable DoD 8570/8140 Information Assurance requirements.

Preferred Experience
- Minimum 1 year of IT help desk, desktop support, or technical troubleshooting experience.
- Previous experience supporting DoD, Army, Air Force, or other federal government environments.
- Experience supporting users in a secure or controlled IT environment.
- Experience with DoD-approved collaboration tools and enterprise IT systems.
Background Investigation / Security Requirements
The selected candidate must maintain an active Secret security clearance throughout the assignment and must comply with all applicable DoD, installation, and contract security requirements.
Any required background investigation or investigative documentation, including NACI/SF-85 requirements where applicable, must be completed in accordance with the contract and government requirements.
Work Environment
This position is fully on-site at Fort Bliss, Texas. The selected candidate must be able to work within the site and comply with all applicable access, security, identification, information assurance, and workplace requirements.
