<p>E-Logic, Inc. is seeking a <strong>Computer Support Specialist</strong> for a <strong>6-month assignment</strong> supporting Department of Defense (DoD) operations at <strong>Fort Bliss, Texas</strong>.</p><p>The selected candidate will be <strong>employed by E-Logic, Inc.</strong> and will provide on-site technical support to mission-essential personnel. The position is responsible for troubleshooting hardware, software, network, and user-access issues; maintaining approved systems and configurations; supporting DoD collaboration platforms; and ensuring systems remain secure and operational in accordance with applicable DoD and Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) requirements.</p><p>The ideal candidate will have hands-on IT support experience, strong knowledge of Windows-based environments, and the required DoD Information Assurance certification(s).</p><p><br></p><h2>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</h2><h2><br></h2><ul><li>Provide technical support for <strong>Non-Classified Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPRNet)</strong> infrastructure and associated DoD-approved devices.</li><li>Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, connectivity, and configuration issues in accordance with applicable DoD security policies and procedures.</li><li>Install and apply approved system patches, updates, configurations, and security updates to maintain system security and integrity.</li><li>Support and administer <strong>SharePoint, Microsoft Teams/Air Force Teams</strong>, and other DoD-approved collaboration and communication tools.</li><li>Support system upgrades, security updates, configuration changes, and related technical activities in accordance with applicable <strong>DISA guidelines and DoD requirements</strong>.</li><li>Provide help desk and end-user technical support for assigned personnel and systems.</li><li>Assist users with approved hardware, software, applications, network connectivity, and system-access issues.</li><li>Conduct initial and/or refresher training for personnel on approved systems, applications, and devices, as assigned.</li><li>Monitor and maintain assigned systems to help ensure operational availability, security, and compliance.</li><li>Remain current on applicable Army and Air Force technologies, standards, systems, and infrastructure changes.</li><li>Provide professional and responsive customer service to <strong>AFSFC Detachment 3 personnel</strong>.</li><li>Perform other IT support duties as assigned in support of the contract and mission requirements.</li></ul><h2>Required Qualifications</h2><ul><li><strong>Active Secret Security Clearance is mandatory.</strong></li><li><strong>CompTIA Security+ CE is required.</strong></li><li>Ability to work <strong>fully on-site at Fort Bliss, Texas</strong>.</li><li>Working knowledge of Windows operating systems and common hardware/software troubleshooting procedures.</li><li>Knowledge of DoD cybersecurity policies, procedures, and security requirements.</li><li>Familiarity with DoD-approved systems, networks, and information technology environments.</li><li>Ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently and provide effective end-user support.</li><li>Strong communication, customer service, problem-solving, and organizational skills.</li></ul><h2>Required / Desired Certifications and Technical Knowledge</h2><ul><li><strong>CompTIA Security+ CE - Required</strong></li><li><strong>CompTIA A+ CE - Preferred</strong></li><li><strong>CompTIA Network+ CE - Preferred</strong></li><li>Knowledge of applicable <strong>DoD 8570/8140 Information Assurance requirements</strong>.</li><li>Familiarity with:</li><li class="ql-indent-1">Windows 10</li><li class="ql-indent-1">Air Force Standard Desktop Configurations</li><li class="ql-indent-1">IPv6</li><li class="ql-indent-1">Global Information Grid (GIG)</li><li class="ql-indent-1">IAO Express</li><li class="ql-indent-1">Air Force Client Service Technician duties and procedures</li><li class="ql-indent-1">SharePoint</li><li class="ql-indent-1">Microsoft Teams/Air Force Teams</li><li class="ql-indent-1">NIPRNet environments</li></ul><h2>Preferred Experience</h2><ul><li>Minimum <strong>1 year of IT help desk, desktop support, or technical troubleshooting experience</strong>.</li><li>Previous experience supporting <strong>DoD, Army, Air Force, or other federal government environments</strong>.</li><li>Experience supporting users in a secure or controlled IT environment.</li><li>Experience with DoD-approved collaboration tools and enterprise IT systems.</li></ul><h2>Background Investigation / Security Requirements</h2><p>The selected candidate must maintain an <strong>active Secret security clearance</strong> throughout the assignment and must comply with all applicable DoD, installation, and contract security requirements.</p><p>Any required background investigation or investigative documentation, including <strong>NACI/SF-85 requirements where applicable</strong>, must be completed in accordance with the contract and government requirements.</p><h2>Work Environment</h2><p>This position is <strong>fully on-site at Fort Bliss, Texas</strong>.
