About the Role

We are seeking a Functional Analyst IV (Strategic Planning) to provide strategic logistics program support for the Coordinated SECREP Management & Strategic Logistics Services (CSM&SLS) contract supporting the Marine Corps Logistics Command (MARCORLOGCOM) in Albany, GA. This is a key personnel position responsible for analyzing supply chain processes, developing strategic recommendations, and supporting senior leadership with data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze supply chain processes and architecture and provide recommended strategic-level courses of action for improvement.
  • Provide change management support to the Government customer.
  • Apply knowledge of laws, policies, regulations, and precedents applicable to logistics planning and program execution/sustainment.
  • Develop recommendations for changes to Marine Corps policy.
  • Develop briefings, documents, and other communications related to Strategic Logistics Services for executive or senior management staff.
  • Facilitate meetings or conferences for strategic initiatives and improvements.
  • Develop and provide trip reports for any conference meeting attended on direction from the Government.
  • Apply detailed knowledge and experience with Logistics Commands framework and concept for planning and execution in the following areas:
  • Strategic Planning
  • Metrics Management
  • Demand Forecasting
  • Allowance Setting
  • Backorder Management
  • GCSS-MC functionality and integration
  • Perform additional duties typical of or related to the Functional Analyst IV role.

Required Qualifications

Experience:

  • Minimum 5-6 years in the following:
  • Working with Military wholesale and retail logistics activities in Reparable/Consumable support.
  • Management of Ground Equipment Secondary Items.
  • Leading strategic process re-engineering & development efforts.
  • Performance management framework for evaluating the effectiveness of Products & Services.
  • Supply chain business processes and architecture.
  • Providing training to affected employees, developing curriculum & materials, and classroom instruction to include specific training to launch re-engineered processes.

Capabilities:

  • Apply relative knowledge to analyze problems, identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, and recognize/apply solutions.
  • Plan and organize work to successfully perform complex tasks.
  • Effectively and efficiently communicate, both written and orally, to personnel at various status and rank.
  • Apply knowledge of the administrative processes and documentation requirements to logistics program execution and sustainment.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a four (4) year course of study in a relevant field leading to a bachelor's degree, or a combination of successfully completed post-high school education and/or training experiences that meet the total qualification requirements for this position level.
  • Ability to obtain SECRET Level Security Clearance by Day 1 Ready.
  • Must pass a criminal background check and Personnel Risk Assessment (PRA).

Preferred:

  • Experience with GCSS-MC, APSR, L-DART, E-START, Navy ERP, or Catalyst.
  • Knowledge of Marine Corps Reparable Business Rules and SECREP WIPT processes.

Work Environment

  • Location: Albany, GA (MARCORLOGCOM).
  • Travel: Local travel authorized; travel outside the local region (CONUS and OCONUS) may be required and will be reimbursed in accordance with FAR 31.2 and Public Law 99-234.
  • Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM local time, Monday through Friday, except Federal holidays.
  • On-Site: Required at Government installation (Albany, GA).
