Principal CPI Analyst IV

About the Role
We are seeking a Principal CPI Analyst IV to lead Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) initiatives for the Coordinated SECREP Management & Strategic Logistics Services (CSM&SLS) contract supporting the Marine Corps Logistics Command (MARCORLOGCOM) in Albany, GA. This is a key personnel position requiring a Six Sigma Master Black Belt and expertise in Lean Six Sigma methodologies, data analytics, and supply chain process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize Lean Six Sigma process improvement methodologies to facilitate Continuous Process Improvement (CPI).
- Provide project and change management support to the Government customer.
- Facilitate CPI-related meetings and projects.
- Facilitate the SECREP Working Integrated Product Team (WIPT), brief the Enterprise CSM Metrics Scorecard presentation, and capture business and action items in meeting minutes and the CSM POA&M.
- Develop and provide briefings and documents such as position papers in support of CPI initiatives.
- Conduct root-cause investigations and Value Stream Mapping (VSM) to develop Courses of Action (COAs) and Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&M).
- Develop and maintain tools that extract data from systems utilized in the management of the Marine Corps supply chains and provide visibility of key performance metrics.
- Collect metrics data, perform calculations, develop statistical summaries, and perform trend analysis and assessment of the Supply Chain.
- Utilize statistical tools to test hypotheses and develop models to forecast upcoming trends in metrics.
- Develop, refine, standardize, and execute processes that ensure metrics data integrity.
- Collaborate with the Government customer to develop, refine, and update metrics and develop targets for metrics.
- Develop responses to data calls and analysis requirements for SECREPs.
- Conduct RIP visits as needed in support of CPI initiatives.
- Analyze Situation Reports and maintain communication with stakeholders during all phases of process evaluation and improvement.
- Maintain SECREP metrics data history and archive.
- Provide input into policy changes and facilitate those changes as required.
- Perform additional duties typical of or related to the Principal CPI Analyst IV role.
Required Qualifications
Experience:
- Minimum 5-6 years in the following:
- Working with Military wholesale and retail logistics activities in Reparable/Consumable support.
- Management of Ground Equipment Secondary Items.
- Leading strategic process re-engineering & development efforts.
- Performance management framework for evaluating the effectiveness of Products & Services.
- Supply chain business processes and architecture.
- Providing training to affected employees, developing curriculum & materials, and classroom instruction to include specific training to launch re-engineered processes.
Capabilities:
- Apply relative knowledge to analyze problems, identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, and recognize/apply solutions.
- Plan and organize work to successfully perform complex tasks.
- Effectively and efficiently communicate, both written and orally, to personnel at various status and rank.
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Logistics Management, Statistics, etc.).
- Possess a valid, current Six Sigma Master Black Belt certification, and have held that certification for at least 5 consecutive years.
- Ability to obtain SECRET Level Security Clearance by Day 1 Ready.
- Must pass a criminal background check and Personnel Risk Assessment (PRA).
Preferred:
- Detailed knowledge of Marine Corps Supply Chain/Marine Corps Reparable Program processes.
- Experience with E-START, APSR, GCSS-MC, L-DART, Navy ERP, Catalyst, or MDR.
- Experience with Oracle OBIEE Reports Writer/User.
Work Environment
- Location: Albany, GA (MARCORLOGCOM).
- Travel: Local travel authorized; travel outside the local region (CONUS and OCONUS) may be required and will be reimbursed in accordance with FAR 31.2 and Public Law 99-234.
- Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM local time, Monday through Friday, except Federal holidays.
- On-Site: Required at Government installation (Albany, GA).
