Position Summary

E-Logic, Inc. is seeking an experienced Pressure Test Technician to support hydrostatic pressure vessel testing activities in Newport, RI. The technician will prepare and conduct pressure tests, operate test equipment and instrumentation, collect and document test data, and prepare technical test reports.

The successful candidate will have substantial hands-on experience conducting pressure testing, preferably in a Navy, defense, maritime, or industrial testing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform hydrostatic pressure testing of pressure vessels and related test articles.
• Prepare pressure vessels, test fixtures, instrumentation, and associated equipment for testing.
• Set up and operate pressure testing equipment in accordance with approved procedures.
• Monitor pressure, temperature, and other required test parameters.
• Conduct pre-test inspections and verify test equipment readiness.
• Operate and monitor test instrumentation and data acquisition systems.
• Collect, record, and validate pressure test data.
• Identify and document test anomalies, equipment issues, and deviations.
• Maintain accurate test records and documentation.
• Prepare test reports and technical data packages.
• Support engineering personnel with the review and interpretation of test results.
• Follow applicable safety procedures and testing requirements.
• Assist with laboratory and equipment maintenance as required.
• Perform other technical testing duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of total professional experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience performing pressure testing.
• Hands-on experience with hydrostatic pressure vessels and pressure-test instrumentation.
• Experience collecting and documenting technical test data.
• Ability to prepare clear and accurate test documentation and reports.
• Ability to work on-site in Newport, RI.

Preferred Qualifications

• 7 or more years of pressure testing experience.
• At least 1 year of experience operating Category III cranes.
• Active Secret security clearance.
• Experience supporting Navy, defense, maritime, shipboard, or industrial pressure testing programs.

Work Environment

This position is performed on-site in Newport, Rhode Island and involves hands-on work with pressure vessels, test equipment, instrumentation, and laboratory equipment. The position requires strict adherence to applicable safety procedures due to the hazards associated with pressure testing.
