Location: On-site at USCP Headquarters, SW Washington, DC (minimum 2 days/week; 3 days telework after a two-month full on-site acclimation period)

Position Overview
Seeking an organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to provide basic clerical and administrative support within the United States Capitol Police (USCP), Office of Information Systems (OIS). This role supports daily operations, timekeeping, records management, and general administrative functions for approximately 30 federal employees and 12 contractors.
This is a non-personal services contract position. The contractor employee reports directly to the Prime Contractor for HR, disciplinary, and administrative matters, while receiving work direction from the Government Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) and OIS leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as timekeeper for approximately 30 Federal employee staff using USCP's current timekeeping system (Infor Workforce Management) Workbrain, ensuring all timecards are received, verified, and have all required information
- Maintain track and file time & attendance (T&A) records for future retrieval
- Process physical door access/entry requests to support OIS' Security Managers in tracking and revising (in accordance with USCP's Security Service Bureau (SSB) policies)
- Collect and maintain up-to-date Division Personnel information on office documents, including OIS' organizational chart, office phone list, and emergency contact lists
- Scan and upload materials into pre-created folders in SharePoint and/or MS Teams
- Facilitate occasional leadership administrative request inquiries (e.g., reserve conference rooms, revise PowerPoint slides for presentations)
- Support IRMD Associate Director with tracking IT equipment assignments of approximately 12 contractors
- Monitor and manage office supply inventory to maintain appropriate stock levels
- Collect, coordinate, and prepare quarterly office supply order requests in accordance with office requirements
- Fulfill printing requests (e.g., business cards, glossy material)
- Perform basic front desk administrative duties: receiving and distributing mail, filing materials, and making photocopies
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Education: Not specified (High School Diploma or equivalent preferred)
- Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience providing general basic administrative support
- Skills: Basic proficiency using the MS Office suite of applications (Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint); quick learner on MS Visio, SharePoint, and M365 (most notably Teams); strong attention to detail; good customer service skills; proactive posture to seek information (remotely or in person); flexibility in the approach to the delivery of work; detail-oriented with good organization and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with federal government administrative support
- Familiarity with timekeeping systems (e.g., Infor Workforce Management/Workbrain)
- Experience with physical access/security request processes
Schedule & Work Conditions
- Hours: Normal business hours, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, excluding Federal holidays
- Telework: On-site minimum 2 days/week; 3 days telework after two-month full on-site acclimation period. USCP may increase on-site requirements based on situational awareness.
- Travel: Not authorized
- Special Events: May be required to work during certain special events (e.g., Presidential Inauguration, State of the Union) at the same labor rates
