Position Summary

E-Logic, Inc. is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to serve as Key Personnel supporting the Navy's Joint Region Marianas (JRM) J6 office. The Senior Systems Engineer will provide senior-level engineering, architecture, modernization, troubleshooting, and technical oversight for Navy network and systems infrastructure.

The position will support VDI and cloud migration, network modernization, and infrastructure upgrades, while also preparing technical documentation and change packages required for Navy authorization and configuration processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead engineering and technical support activities for the JRM J6 office.
• Design, implement, and support VDI environments and cloud migration initiatives.
• Support Navy network modernization and infrastructure upgrades.
• Develop and maintain network topologies, data flow diagrams, rack elevations, and other technical documentation required for ATO documentation.
• Prepare Navy FRCB change packages.
• Provide Tier III technical troubleshooting for complex network and systems issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and develop corrective actions for recurring technical problems.
• Provide technical oversight of third-party security system installation projects.
• Review vendor technical proposals and provide technical input regarding proposed solutions.
• Witness and support acceptance testing of vendor-installed systems.
• Support enterprise networking using Cisco technologies.
• Provide technical guidance and oversight for network architecture and infrastructure projects.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation for supported systems and infrastructure.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• Senior-level professional experience demonstrating advanced:
• Navy network architecture
• VDI
• Cloud integration
• Cisco enterprise networking
• Experience with Navy network architecture, with ONE-Net experience preferred.
• Experience supporting network modernization and infrastructure upgrades.
• Strong Tier III troubleshooting and root cause analysis experience.
• Experience preparing technical/network documentation and change packages.

Required Certifications

Candidate must hold:

• Active CCNP or CCIE, AND
• One of the following active certifications:
• CISSP
• CASP+ / SecurityX
• CISA

Technical Skills

• Cisco IOS
• VDI platforms
• Cloud environments
• Microsoft Visio
• Enterprise network architecture
• Network diagrams and technical documentation
• Tier III troubleshooting and root cause analysis

Preferred Qualifications

• Active SECRET clearance
• Prior Joint Region Marianas (JRM) experience
• Prior Guam DoD experience
• Current residence in Guam

Work Environment

This is an on-site position in Guam, supporting operations at:

• Naval Base Guam
• Andersen Air Force Base
• Marine Corps Base Camp Blaz

The normal work schedule is Monday through Friday, 0700-1600, with after-hours callback support for critical outages.
