Administrative Assistant III (ADMIN III)

E-logic is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant III (ADMIN III) to provide advanced administrative and operational support for the U.S. Army Medical Equipment Maintenance, Administrative Support, and Logistics Services program at Fort Detrick. The ADMIN III will lead subordinate administrative staff while supporting work order coordination, logistics, inventory, office administration, and supply functions in a fast-paced government environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, direct, and supervise subordinate administrative personnel, assigning work and monitoring performance.
  • Perform advanced administrative and clerical duties in support of medical equipment maintenance and logistics operations.
  • Coordinate and track work orders, maintenance requests, and service documentation.
  • Manage office correspondence, records, reports, and data entry activities with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Support finance, supply, and inventory control functions as assigned.
  • Assist with shipping, receiving, and tracking of equipment and repair parts.
  • Maintain databases, filing systems, and property management records.
  • Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and status updates for management and government personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational procedures, quality standards, and government regulations.
  • Provide guidance and training to junior administrative staff and assist with workflow coordination.

Required Qualifications

  • Possesses all qualifications of an Administrative Assistant II (ADMIN II).
  • 4-6 years of progressively responsible administrative experience, preferably in a government, military, healthcare, logistics, or technical support environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and supervise subordinate staff.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and common office information systems.
  • Experience with work order tracking, inventory systems, finance support, or supply management is highly desirable.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional administrative or business coursework is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting U.S. Army or other Department of Defense programs.
  • Familiarity with medical equipment maintenance operations and logistics support processes.
  • Experience working in regulated or mission-critical environments.
