Architect
E-Logic is seeking a qualified Architect to provide professional architectural support for the planning, design, construction, renovation, and maintenance of Government facilities. The selected candidate will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, review architectural designs and construction documents, and ensure compliance with applicable federal, military, and industry standards throughout all phases of project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide architectural support across planning, design, construction, and maintenance of shore facilities.
- Perform programming, space planning, concept design, and sustainable-design and code-compliance review.
- Review furnished drawings, specifications, and cost estimates; collaborate with other engineering disciplines.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from a NAAB/NCARB-accredited Architecture program (or approved equivalent) AND minimum 5 years of architectural design, including at least 1 year on facilities projects for a Federal Agency.
- Minimum 5 years of professional, code-compliant facilities design for new construction, including renovation design (required).
- Registration as a Registered Architect (RA) - desirable.
- Autodesk and Microsoft Office; International Building Code and Life Safety Code; knowledge of NAVFAC EURAFCENT AOR codes.
Security & eligibility:
- U.S. citizen with a current, active DoD Secret clearance.
- Valid driver's license.
Location: Primary work location is NSA Naples (Capodichino), Italy (PSC 817 Box 51, FPO, AE 09622-0051). The position requires frequent Temporary Duty (TDY) travel to NSA Bahrain, Kingdom of Bahrain, including NSA 1, NSA 2, NSA 3, and Isa Air Base. TDY travel may consist of up to ten (10) trips, each lasting approximately ten (10) days, during each performance period. While performing work at NSA Bahrain, employees may be required to work in austere environments due to damaged facilities and must be capable of performing physical activities such as prolonged walking, standing, climbing, crouching, and bending. U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
