Lead Data Scientist
E-Logic, Inc. is looking for a Technical Analytics Manager / Lead Data Scientist to design, manage, and execute advanced fraud detection models and analytic strategies for the Pandemic Response Accountability Committee (PRAC). In this role, you will lead model development, oversee code implementation, conduct quality control reviews, and ideate innovative approaches to uncover complex fraud schemes across government benefit programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Design analytic approaches, manage model development and testing efforts, and conduct thorough quality control reviews across project lifecycles.
- Develop analytic rules and models using open-source programming techniques and leading-edge analytic tools for fraud detection use cases.
- Ideate innovative use cases to detect and prevent fraud, waste, abuse, and mismanagement across large-scale datasets.
- Track project progress, mitigate technical risks/issues, and conduct rigorous quality control on support teams' work products prior to final delivery.
- Communicate technical findings clearly to key stakeholders through strong oral and written presentations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience developing analytic rules/models for fraud detection using modern tools and industry best practices.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience coding rules and models using open-source tools/techniques.
- 5+ years tracking project progress, managing risk, and reviewing contractor/team work products to ensure quality and precision.
- Strong oral and written communication abilities.
