Senior Systems Administrator
E-logic is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to provide critical web infrastructure and application server support for active federal web applications. You will be responsible for the continuous availability ($24/7$ operational target) of systems hosted on secure Internet Information Services (IIS) servers, orchestrating routine patching, automation, and tier-3 technical troubleshooting for IRS Criminal Investigation (CI) Management Information Systems (including CIMIS and AFTRAK).
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day administration, server configuration, and software upgrades for IIS and Windows Server environments.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to integrate monthly security patches with minimal downtime.
- Utilize system monitoring software like System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) to track infrastructure health and traffic peaks.
- Support configuration control protocols ensuring all server adjustments align with strict government compliance changes.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in System Administration within enterprise environments.
- Core Skills: Expert-level familiarity with Internet Information Services (IIS), Windows 11/Windows Server platforms, and active directory structures.
- Monitoring & Tooling: Experience with Microsoft SCOM, SharePoint administration, and automation scripting.
- Clearance: Must be able to successfully pass an IRS High-Risk Background Investigation and a 7-panel federal workplace drug screening.
