Cybersecurity Specialist
E-logic is seeking for an experienced Cybersecurity Specialist to support development and tactical hardware suites for naval weapon systems. This role spans across laboratory land-based environments and operational afloat platforms. You will act as a key defender of critical architecture, managing risk frameworks, executing penetration plans, and securing systems against emergent threats for Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) under the Missile Systems Integration, Threat Engineering, and Weapons Effectiveness Division (H30).
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day Information Assurance duties, including IAVM compliance, system patching, and log management. Prepare and review Assessment & Authorization (A&A) packages utilizing Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Platform IT (PIT) standards.
- Execute system vulnerability management and reporting using DoD-approved monitoring and scanning tools. Develop security penetration test plans, test specifications, test procedures, and comprehensive security test reports. Implement and validate Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) requirements and installation checklists.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Secret Clearance is mandatory.
- Must be eligible for IT Level-1 (Privileged Access) designation, which requires a favorably adjudicated T5/T5R investigation.
- Must possess an approved commercial cybersecurity certification at the start of performance to satisfy DoD 8140.03-M Cyberspace Workforce requirements.
- Willingness to sign a Privileged Access Agreement and a SAAR-N.
