Project Manager
We are seeking a leadership-driven Program / Contract Manager to oversee the delivery of a Deployment Operations and JOPES Support contract for III Armored Corps at Fort Hood, TX. You will act as the primary point of contact for the Government, holding full decision-making authority over personnel, operational quality, and performance compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the direct interface with the Contracting Officer (KO) and Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) on all contractual and operational matters.
- Hire, schedule, and maintain a highly trained, fully cleared workforce to ensure uninterrupted, 40-hour work week mission support.
- Enforce the contract Quality Control Plan (QCP), conduct trend analyses, and manage metrics to meet strict 96% accuracy thresholds.
- Author and implement Corrective Action Plans (CAP) to resolve any government-identified performance non-conformances.
- Deliver Monthly Progress Reports tracking tasks and cumulative costs. Ensure all staff complete mandatory security, drug, and awareness training timelines.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Secret Clearance is mandatory.
- Must be available via phone 24/7/365 to handle urgent operational coordination and contract matters.
- Strong background in federal contracting, FAR/DFARS compliance, Quality Assurance Surveillance Plans (QASP), and CPARS data tracking.
- Exceptional oral and written presentation skills, with proven experience collaborating alongside senior military commanders and MACOM staff principals.
- Solid understanding of military organizational command relationships; direct familiarity with JOPES, TPFDD structures, and mobility logistics is highly preferred.
