E-logic is seeking a highly qualified Senior Technical Lead (STL) to oversee network operations and system administration for the U.S. Forest Service (USFS) Fire, Fuel, and Smoke Sciences Laboratory (Fire Lab) in Missoula, MT. This unique role manages a critical, secure, air-gapped research network infrastructure spanning three local facilities. This position will serve as E-logic's single point of contact (POC) for Task Order management, holding full decision-making authority for all contract issues, technical tasks, and client communication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary, highly responsive POC for the Government client; proactively track deliverables, manage on-site staff, and alert leadership to potential contractual issues.
• Maintain, configure, and troubleshoot 11 network equipment pieces (including Cisco switches/Firepower appliances), 39 servers, 7 workstations, and various infrastructure/storage systems (NAS, UPS).
• Partner with the ISSO to maintain the network's Authority to Operate (ATO), remediate vulnerabilities, audit logs, and execute rapid 24-hour mitigations for zero-day threats.
• Administer Active Directory, DNS/SSL setups, static IPv4/IPv6 spaces, software licensing, and prepare technical procurement estimates.

Required Qualifications & Certifications:

• Extensive IT project management and ability to make authoritative decisions.
• Must be eligible for a USDA LincPass (HSPD-12 PIV card).
• Cisco Certified Field Technician (or higher Cisco certification)
• CompTIA Security+
• CompTIA Network+
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and technical writing skills.
• Availability for emergency after-hours support.
