Program Manager
E-Logic is seeking an experienced and strategic Program Manager to support a proposed IT Finance Management and Operational Support initiative for the New York City Department of Education (NYC DOE). This position is part of a competitive proposal effort and is contingent upon contract award.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience leading large-scale IT programs, managing cross-functional teams, and supporting public sector or government clients. This role requires strong leadership, executive communication, and operational oversight capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact and accountable leader for the overall program
- Lead program governance, delivery management, stakeholder engagement, and strategic oversight
- Oversee multiple workstreams, including:
- Strategic Planning
- Financial Operations
- Innovation Initiatives
- Project Management Quality Assurance (PMQA)
- Ensure timely, high-quality delivery of project deliverables and ongoing support services
- Facilitate executive-level reporting and presentations for senior leadership
- Identify, manage, and mitigate program risks, issues, dependencies, and escalations
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure alignment with project goals and client expectations
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence across the program
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of Program Management experience supporting large-scale IT or consulting initiatives
- Strong experience working with government, education, or public sector clients preferred
- Demonstrated success managing complex, multi-year programs and multiple stakeholders
- Excellent leadership, communication, and executive presentation skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- PMP certification or equivalent project/program management certification preferred
Preferred Skills
- Experience managing enterprise-level operational support programs
- Familiarity with financial management and PMQA methodologies
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced and highly collaborative environments
- Experience supporting proposal-based or contract-driven engagements is a plus
Note: This is not a fully remote position. Candidates should expect occasional travel into New York City, particularly during planning, coordination, and stakeholder alignment phases.
