E-Logic is hiring an Embedded IT Support Specialist to provide hands-on technical support within a Michigan Municipal Facilities. This is a highly visible, client-facing role where you'll support day-to-day IT operations across multiple city departments. Local travel between city facilities required.
What You'll Do
- Provide Level 1 & Level 2 IT support (in-person + remote)
- Troubleshoot:
- Workstations, laptops, mobile devices
- Printers, VoIP systems, peripherals
- Software and network connectivity issues
- Set up and deploy new devices (PCs, laptops, tablets)
- Support Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, etc.)
- Manage and track IT assets and inventory
- Maintain and update helpdesk tickets (SLA-driven environment)
- Support infrastructure issues and escalate when needed
- Assist with after-hours support and city meetings/events (as needed)
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams
Requirements
- 3+ years of IT Support / Helpdesk / Desktop Support experience
- Strong knowledge of:
- Windows 10/11
- Microsoft 365
- Active Directory
- Experience troubleshooting hardware/software issues
- Familiar with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira, etc.)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
Nice to Have
- Experience in government or public sector IT
- Knowledge of:
- Networking basics (routers, switches, firewalls)
- VoIP systems (3CX or similar)
- Backup solutions (Veeam)
- Exposure to cybersecurity tools (EDR, antivirus)
