The Network/Systems Administrator is responsible for maintaining, securing, and optimizing IT infrastructure supporting DoD operations, including servers, networks, and system environments. Key Responsibilities <ul><li>Administer and maintain network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs)</li><li>Manage servers (Windows/Linux), virtualization, and cloud environments</li><li>Monitor system performance and ensure high availability</li><li>Implement patches, updates, and system hardening</li><li>Troubleshoot network and system issues</li><li>Support backup, recovery, and continuity operations</li><li>Ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity and configuration standards</li><li>Maintain documentation and system configurations</li></ul>Qualifications <ul><li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience</li><li>5+ years of systems/network administration experience</li><li>Experience with Cisco, VMware, Windows Server, Linux</li><li>Security+ required (DoD baseline certification)</li><li>Knowledge of STIGs, RMF, and NIST controls</li></ul> Important Notice: This role is part of a proposal for the Department of Defense.
