E-logic is hiring a Journeyman Software QA Tester to support the U.S. Department of the Interior (DOI), Interior Business Center (IBC), Human Resources Directorate (HRD) in ensuring the quality and reliability of their critical HR and Payroll software applications. This role involves applying expertise to complex assignments to ensure all software complies with federal and DOI standards.

Responsibilities:

• Independently design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Perform functional, regression, performance, and security testing across various software life-cycle stages.
• Analyze user requirements and system specifications to determine appropriate testing methodology.
• Document, track, and manage software defects, and collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 to 10 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
• Must possess the ability to operate with latitude and work independently to accomplish assigned tasks
