E-Logic is seeking a Computer Support Specialist for a 6-month assignment supporting Department of Defense operations. The selected candidate will be employed by E-Logic and will work on-site at the Fort Bliss, TX military base. In this role, you will provide hands-on IT support, troubleshoot hardware/software issues, and ensure system integrity across critical DoD environments such as SharePoint and Air Force Teams. Your expertise in Windows systems and CompTIA certifications will ensure a seamless technology experience for mission-essential personnel.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for Non-Classified Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPR) infrastructure and associated DoD-approved devices.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues in compliance with DoD security policies.
- Apply system patches, updates, and configurations to maintain security and integrity.
- Administer SharePoint, Air Force Teams, and other DoD-approved collaboration tools.
- Support upgrades, security updates, and configuration changes per Defense Information System Agency (DISA) guidelines.
- Stay current on Army and Air Force technologies, standards, and infrastructure changes.
- Provide help desk support and end-user assistance.
- Conduct initial training for personnel on approved systems and devices.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to AFSFC Detachment 3 personnel.
Qualifications & Certifications:
- Secret Clearance is mandatory
- Required: CompTIA Security+ CE
- CompTIA A+ CE
- CompTIA Network+ CE
- IA Certification (DoD 8570 compliance)
- NACI/SF85 Certification
- Preferred: Minimum 1 year of IT help desk and troubleshooting experience
- Knowledge of DoD cybersecurity policies (e.g., AFMAN 33-285)
- Familiarity with Windows 10, Air Force Standard Desktop Configurations, IPv6, Global Information Grid (GIG), IAO Express, and AFNET Client Service Technician duties
