Lead Windows Administrator

The Lead Windows Administrator will oversee endpoint management, patching, software deployment, encryption, and automation to ensure a secure, efficient IT environment. This role is highly technical, requiring expertise in Windows systems administration, automation, and enterprise security.


Responsibilities:


  • Manage and optimize patch management, testing, and deployment.
  • Automate IT workflows using PowerShell, Ansible, SCCM, Intune, and related tools.
  • Oversee encryption, workstation imaging, and software deployment.
  • Support Active Directory design, security, and group policy management.
  • Monitor and maintain enterprise IT workflows for optimal performance.

Qualifications:


  • 5 to 8 years of Windows administration and system engineering experience.
  • Certifications: CompTIA A+, MCSE, or equivalent.
  • Expertise in Active Directory, patching, endpoint management, and automation.
  • Strong PowerShell scripting skills.
  • Knowledge of MECM, Intune, BitLocker, BIOS management, and Microsoft 365/Azure.
