The Documentation Specialist is a highly organized professional responsible for managing and maintaining the company's overall documentation processes. This role will prepare and manage spreadsheets, records, invoices, databases, and other files, ensuring their accuracy and integrity. The specialist will also establish and implement a long-term storage strategy and assist with internal and external documentation audits for the BEA.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the company's documentation processes, including spreadsheets, databases, and reports.
- Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and completeness of documents.
- Implement long-term storage strategies for documentation.
- Review documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Enter and update information in the documentation system.
- Label, sort, and categorize files to ensure easy usage and retrieval.
- Assist with internal and external documentation audits.
- Provide additional administrative support as needed.
Skills/Experience:
- High school diploma or GED certificate; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Proven administrative experience.
- Strong writing and organizational skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and document management software.
- Experience with technical writing and creating user manuals is a plus.
- Familiarity with federal compliance requirements for documentation.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
