System Support Specialist
Job Summary:
E-Logic is seeking experienced and motivated System Support Specialists to support the United States Attorney's Office (USAO) in the Southern District of Texas. These individuals will provide comprehensive IT and technical support across four locations. The ideal candidates will have a solid background in IT systems, user support, and hardware/software troubleshooting in enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues involving PCs, servers, local area networks (LANs), printers, and peripherals.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, operating systems, and software applications.
- Provide help desk support via phone, email, or on-site visits.
- Support DOJ applications and assist end-users with functionality and technical guidance.
- Perform hardware/software diagnostics and coordinate repairs as necessary.
- Evaluate system configurations and make recommendations for improvements.
- Document all technical support interactions and resolutions.
- Assist users with training on supported systems and tools.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in end-user IT support, including phone and onsite troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in PC/network troubleshooting, installation, and repair.
- Experience with DOJ systems or other federal environments strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication skills and professional telephone manner.
- Strong problem-solving skills and customer service orientation.
- Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Prior experience in teaching or training users on IT systems is a plus.
Security Clearance: Public Trust (SF-85P + PS) and DOJ Residency Compliance
Security & Residency Requirements:
- Must successfully pass a Public Trust background investigation (SF-85P + PS).
- Must meet DOJ residency requirements (must have lived in the U.S. for three of the last five years).

Additional Information:
- Full-time schedule (1912 hours annually per position)
- Overtime may be authorized with prior written approval
- Federal holidays off
- Long-term opportunity with potential for up to 5 years of service
