E-Logic is seeking an experienced AV Field Technician to support audiovisual installations, testing, programming, and maintenance for projects in the Montgomery County, MD area. The AV Field Technician will be responsible for ensuring the quality, stability, and performance of installed AV systems.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with Crestron and Extron systems (certifications preferred but not required), excellent customer service skills, and a willingness to travel for occasional support on nearby projects.

 Responsibilities:

• Install, test, evaluate, and document AV systems including audio, video, lighting, and networking components.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software and hardware issues related to AV systems.
• Collaborate with design and installation teams to ensure systems meet specifications.
• Generate documentation and reports on system configurations and test results.
• Provide technical support and mentoring to other technicians as needed.
• Travel occasionally to other nearby project sites to provide support as required.
• Interact with clients professionally, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in audiovisual (AV) installation and maintenance.
• Some college education and/or technical school preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X, and productivity tools (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Prior experience with AV equipment from manufacturers such as Biamp, Shure, Extron, Crestron.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and technical documentation.
• Knowledge of AV control systems: Crestron, Extron (certifications a plus, but not required).
• Basic understanding of data networking.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently or with a team.
• Willingness to travel locally as project needs dictate.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly desirable.
