E-Logic is seeking an IT Senior Professional II to provide staff augmentation services at the Regional Traffic Management Center (RTMC) in Sanford, Florida. This position is crucial for ensuring the continued operation of a complex network connecting 2,296 devices, including CCTV, detectors, DMS, and switches, spread across 350 miles of roadways.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring the continued operation of the network connecting various traffic devices.
• Coordinating with contractors, service providers, vendors, and consultants as needed.
• Leading efforts to provide direction on physical layer changes and implement all Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocols, in coordination with the Department's contract manager.
• Configuring and operating network monitoring tools such as Libre NMS and Brocade Network Performance Monitor.
• Administering Fortinet Firewalls, including role and policy updates.
• Performing Web Filter Administration, including weekly audits, permission updates, software updates, and status monitoring using FortiGate.
• Traveling to field locations and maintenance warehouses as required.

Requirements:

• Reporting to the Sanford TMC during regular business hours, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
• Possessing a laptop, cellphone, and transportation for travel to remote locations.
• Completing SLERS background, CJIS, and FDOT security and policy modules prior to the start of work.
• At least one year of hands-on experience in the field or a similar role.
• Ability to work a standard 40-hour work week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (or as approved by Traffic Operations Section Manager), and availability for emergencies as needed.
