IT Project Manager
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end project management for IT initiatives, from initiation through closure.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans detailing scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource allocations.
- Guide and motivate cross-functional teams, ensuring effective collaboration and productivity.
- Monitor project performance, track milestones, and proactively manage risks and issues.
- Manage project budgets, ensuring financial responsibility and adherence to cost constraints.
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders, providing clear project updates, reports, and recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with established project management methodologies (PMI, Agile) and best practices.
Required Experience:
- Proven experience managing at least 3 data pipeline development or data management projects.
- Experience with projects of comparable size and scope, ideally within federal government environments.
- Solid understanding of data pipeline architecture, technologies, and lifecycle management.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Data Engineering Specialist
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement both logical and physical data models tailored for data lake architectures.
- Partner with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate data requirements into efficient models.
- Apply industry best practices to ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity.
- Optimize data structures for high-performance data retrieval and analytics.
- Contribute to the development of data governance frameworks, standards, and practices.
- Research and recommend modern tools, methodologies, and innovations in data modeling.
Required Experience:
- Demonstrated experience designing and developing data models for data lake environments.
- Experience with projects of similar complexity and scale.
- Deep understanding of data warehousing, data lake architectures, and database design principles.
- Proficiency with data modeling tools (e.g., ER/Studio, ERwin) and languages.
- Familiarity with ETL processes and data integration techniques.
Data Pipeline Developer
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data into Databricks.
- Write scalable, efficient code for data ingestion, transformation, and validation processes.
- Implement data quality assurance and validation mechanisms to ensure reliability.
- Monitor data pipelines for performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement optimizations.
- Collaborate with data engineering and analytics teams to meet evolving business requirements.
- Document processes, workflows, and technical specifications.
Required Experience:
- Proven experience developing data pipelines for at least 2 projects involving data loading into Databricks.
- Experience in projects of comparable size and scope.
- Strong coding skills in Python or Scala.
- Expertise in ETL tools, methodologies, and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with Databricks and related cloud data technologies.
- Knowledge of database systems, data warehousing concepts, and distributed computing.
Management Analyst
Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth analysis of business processes to identify opportunities for efficiency and improvement.
- Gather, analyze, and document detailed business and functional requirements from diverse stakeholders.
- Develop clear, actionable documentation including requirements specifications, process maps, and use cases.
- Assess potential solutions, provide recommendations, and support decision-making processes.
- Assist in implementing improved workflows, systems, and processes.
- Serve as a liaison between business units and technical teams, facilitating clear communication.
Required Experience:
- Demonstrated experience gathering requirements for at least 2 IT projects related to data pipelines or data warehousing.
- Experience with projects of comparable size and complexity.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to bridge gaps between technical teams and business stakeholders.
