We are seeking highly skilled Electronic Technicians to support the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Services for the Department of the Treasury. These roles are critical to maintaining and enhancing the department's IT infrastructure and electronic security systems, ensuring seamless operations and compliance with federal standards. This job will be peformance in two government locations: Washington, DC and Landover, MD.


Supervisory Senior Electronic Technician


Responsibilities:

  • Directly supervise contractor and subcontractor staff performing installation, maintenance, and repair of BEP (Bureau of Engraving and Printing) security systems.
  • Analyze system operations and test results to identify malfunctions and maintenance needs.
  • Ensure compliance with BEP COR directives and report on system status and performance.
  • Prepare technical briefings and reports.
  • Initiate authorized system tests and contribute to system enhancement recommendations.
  • Establish and manage a preventative maintenance program.
  • Serve as both supervisor and active team member in installation and maintenance activities.

Requirements:


  • Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience (teams of 5+).
  • Military Electronics Training (720+ hours) OR graduation from an accredited electronics/electrical apprenticeship program OR additional 3 years of electronics experience.
  • 10 years of experience in electronics installation and maintenance across multiple systems.
  • SQL experience (minimum 5 years) with ability to write/execute queries and manage databases.
  • Proficient in IDS, ACS, CCTV systems (Software House CCURE, Verint, Bosch, Hirsch, AMAG, etc.).
  • Strong communication, technical documentation, and time management skills.
  • Familiarity with electronic theory, testing, and systems design.
