eLearning Content Developer (Foster Care Licensing Training)
We are seeking a skilled eLearning Content Developer to create engaging and interactive foster care licensing training modules for integration into the State's Learning Management System (LMS) in South Dakota Department of Social Services. The selected professional will use video editing and eLearning authoring tools (such as Articulate 360 or similar) to bring prepared content to life and ensure it meets technical and instructional standards.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize Articulate 360 or equivalent eLearning software to develop interactive training videos.
- Ensure all content is compatible with the State's LMS.
- Integrate pre-written questions into the training modules, ensuring they are interactive and require participant engagement (e.g., click-to-submit).
- Maintain accuracy, consistency, and instructional clarity across all materials.
- Collaborate with the content team for review and feedback.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in eLearning development, instructional design, or multimedia production.
- Proficient in Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, or similar tools.
- Experience creating SCORM-compliant content for LMS integration.
- Understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design best practices.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
- Background in social services, foster care, or training for government/public sector.
- The candidate may be located remotely but must be willing to travel to South Dakota at least 2 times.
