We are seeking highly qualified System Engineers and Software Engineers to support a Department of Defense (DoD) project. The selected candidates will contribute their expertise in system engineering and software development for critical systems within the Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS). U.S. citizenship is required for these positions.


Senior System Engineer

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Perform high-level systems' analysis, design, integration, documentation, and implementation.
  • Lead system development activities, focusing on planning, analysis, evaluation, integration, testing, and acceptance (IV&V and DT&E).
  • Apply advanced technical principles to solve complex problems.
  • Prepare technical reports, charts, and presentations as required.
  • May serve as a Task Leader to ensure quality and service delivery.

Required Skills:

 

  • Proficiency in JAVA development, STRUTS/STRUTS2, HTML/XML, Oracle Database, Oracle/PL/SQL, WebLogic12, and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with Capability Maturity Model (CMM).

 

Senior Software Engineer

 

Responsibilities:


  • Conduct research, design, and develop complex software applications.
  • Perform high-level systems' analysis, integration, documentation, and implementation.
  • Analyze software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and budget constraints.
  • Lead system development efforts, focusing on integration, testing, and acceptance phases.
  • Ensure high-quality service delivery for all DATAAPS- related tasks.

Required Skills:


  • Expertise in JAVA development, HTML/XHTML, XML, CSS, Oracle Database, Oracle/PL/SQL, and Agile methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Capability Maturity Model (CMM).

 

Senior Software Engineer



Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research, design, and develop mainframe-based software solutions.
  • Perform high-level systems analysis, integration, documentation, and implementation.
  • Apply computer science, engineering, and mathematical principles to complex system problems.
  • Analyze software requirements to assess feasibility within project constraints.
  • Ensure the quality of services delivered for HQARS-related tasks.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in COBOL, Mainframe ECL, QLP development, CMM, and Agile methodologies.
