Location: Washington, DC (Hybrid - 2 days onsite, 3 days telework after 2-month acclimation) Type: Full-Time, Contract Clearance: Must pass USCP criminal history check, fingerprinting, and background investigationAbout the Role: We are seeking a Business Analyst/Project Coordinator to support IT project delivery within a PMO environment for the United States Capitol Police (USCP). This role facilitates requirements gathering, manages backlogs, assists in Agile ceremonies, and supports general project coordination activities.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Support requirements gathering, user story development, acceptance criteria, and backlog refinement in JIRA and Teams Planner</li><li>Assist with sprint planning, daily standups, reviews, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies</li><li>Support UAT planning, documentation, and coordination activities</li><li>Maintain project documentation in Confluence, SharePoint, Teams, or similar platforms</li><li>Prepare and update project materials including schedules, agendas, status reports, and action logs</li><li>Coordinate project meetings, capture meeting notes, and follow up on assigned actions</li><li>Support milestone tracking, timeline updates, and dependency monitoring under PM direction</li><li>Assist with PMO governance activities, including risk, issue tracking, and routing documents for review/approval</li><li>Provide communication support by developing draft stakeholder updates and reporting inputs</li><li>Perform general PMO support such as data entry, project record maintenance, and logistics coordination</li></ul>Minimum Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor's Degree</li><li>5+ years of experience providing administrative, coordination, or project support services</li><li>Familiarity with project management concepts, workflows, and tools</li><li>Experience supporting IT projects preferred</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office</li><li>Experience using collaboration and workflow tools (SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Teams Planner, Planner Premium)</li><li>Ability to organize information, manage multiple priorities, and maintain accurate project documentation</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>Business Analysis or Agile certification (ECBA, CCBA, CBAP, PMI-PBA, CSM, CSPO)</li><li>Experience with Agile delivery tools such as JIRA and Confluence</li><li>Ability to perform basic data analysis and create process models or workflow diagrams</li></ul>Equal Opportunity Employer We are an equal opportunity employer and do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, age, or veteran status.
