Job SummaryE-Logic, Inc. is seeking dependable, safety-focused, and highly responsive Delivery Drivers to support a government-related project throughout Washington, DC. The Delivery Driver will be responsible for safely transporting and delivering supplies, materials, equipment, and other items between warehouses, offices, facilities, and designated locations while maintaining the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and reliability.This position supports a government-related project, and only qualified candidates who meet all project requirements will be selected. Candidates must demonstrate professionalism, reliability, a strong work ethic, and relevant experience in delivery driving, transportation, logistics, moving, or warehouse operations.Selected candidates must successfully complete all required pre-employment screenings, including drug testing, prior to assignment. Employees may also be subject to additional drug testing during employment and/or after completion of the assignment as required by company policy, contract requirements, and applicable regulations.The ideal candidate must be dependable, punctual, professional, and able to respond quickly to changing schedules, delivery priorities, and urgent project needs.Working HoursMonday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM.Key ResponsibilitiesVehicle OperationSafely operate company vehicles, including cargo vans, box trucks, and other assigned delivery vehicles throughout Washington, DC, while following all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies.Transportation and DeliveryTransport and deliver supplies, materials, equipment, and other items between warehouses, offices, facilities, and designated locations according to assigned schedules and delivery instructions.Loading and Cargo ProtectionLoad, unload, secure, and transport materials properly to prevent damage during transit while ensuring all items are handled safely and efficiently.Delivery Verification and DocumentationVerify delivery items against manifests, packing lists, or delivery instructions before departure and upon arrival. Obtain required signatures, delivery confirmations, and maintain accurate delivery records and documentation.Vehicle Inspection and MaintenancePerform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Immediately report safety concerns, damage, maintenance issues, or operational concerns. Maintain company vehicles in a clean, organized, and professional condition.Communication and Customer ServiceMaintain professional communication and respectful interactions with supervisors, coworkers, clients, facility representatives, and other project personnel. Report delays, delivery issues, damaged materials, or concerns immediately.Warehouse SupportAssist with basic warehouse operations, including inventory handling, loading, unloading, staging, and organization tasks as needed.Qualifications<ul><li>Valid driver's license required. CDL may be required depending on assigned vehicle type.</li><li>Acceptable driving record that meets company requirements.</li><li>Previous experience in delivery driving, logistics, transportation, moving, or warehouse operations preferred.</li><li>Ability to safely lift, carry, and move materials weighing 50 pounds or more.</li><li>Ability to operate delivery vehicles responsibly in an urban environment.</li><li>Strong attention to safety, compliance, and company procedures.</li><li>Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions and meet project deadlines.</li><li>Ability to communicate professionally with supervisors, coworkers, and client representatives.</li><li>Ability to complete delivery logs, reports, and electronic confirmations when required.</li><li>Must comply with all project requirements, including required screenings and safety procedures.</li></ul>Federal Project RequirementsBecause this position supports a government-related project:<ul><li>Only qualified candidates who meet all job requirements will be selected.</li><li>Candidates must successfully complete required pre-employment screening, including drug testing, before beginning work.</li><li>Employees may be subject to additional drug testing during employment and/or after completion of the assignment as required by contract requirements and company policy.</li><li>Professional conduct, reliability, safety awareness, and compliance with all client requirements are mandatory.</li></ul>Work Environment &amp; Physical Requirements<ul><li>Frequent driving throughout Washington, DC.</li><li>Regular loading, unloading, lifting, and transporting of materials.</li><li>Ability to stand, bend, lift, carry, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday.</li><li>Work may require operating in active government facility environments.</li><li>Daily interaction with clients, facility representatives, warehouse personnel, and project team members.</li><li>Must maintain a professional appearance and behavior while representing E-Logic, Inc.</li></ul>
