E-Logic is hiring a highly experienced Risk Management Test Subject Matter Expert (SME) - Safety Specialist to support the U.S. Army Aberdeen Test Center (ATC) / Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC) at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), Maryland. This role provides expert-level support to the Safety and Occupational Health Program, focusing on high-risk test operations involving automotive and weapons/ammunition systems. <h3>Key Responsibilities:</h3><ul><li>Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) supporting the Safety and Occupational Health Program.</li><li>Conduct safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments across test operations.</li><li>Perform incident investigations and root cause analysis for safety events.</li><li>Develop and deliver safety training, briefings, and hazard awareness sessions.</li><li>Evaluate test range and operational procedures to ensure compliance with safety standards.</li><li>Support risk mitigation planning for automotive, weapons, and ammunition testing environments.</li><li>Collaborate with engineers, test personnel, and leadership to ensure safe execution of test missions.</li><li>Provide expert recommendations to reduce operational risk and improve safety performance.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications &amp; Requirements:</h3><ul><li>Bachelor's degree required.</li><li>Minimum of 23 years of relevant experience in test operations or safety at a Major Range and Test Facility.</li><li>Certified to conduct OSHA 10-Hour General Industry training.</li><li>Secret Clearance is mandatory.</li><li>Extensive experience in automotive testing and/or weapons and ammunition testing environments.</li><li>Strong expertise in risk management, safety analysis, and incident investigation.</li><li>Excellent communication skills and ability to brief senior leadership.</li><li>Proven ability to operate in high-risk government test environments.</li></ul><h3>Equal Opportunity Employer</h3>E-Logic is an Equal Opportunity Employer and considers all applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other protected characteristic in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
