E-Logic is hiring a qualified Security Technician I - Range Security (Surge Support) to provide intermittent guard support for test range operations at the U.S. Army Aberdeen Test Center (ATC) / Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC) located at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), Maryland. This position supports mission-critical test activities by providing on-demand security coverage in a high-risk, controlled test environment. <h3>Key Responsibilities:</h3><ul><li>Provide armed/unarmed range security and guard support during test operations.</li><li>Operate in two-person security teams to ensure safety and compliance across active test ranges.</li><li>Work 12-hour night shifts (typically 1800-0600) in support of mission testing activities.</li><li>Respond to Government call-ups with minimum 4 hours' notice for surge operational needs.</li><li>Monitor restricted test range areas and enforce all applicable security protocols.</li><li>Support safe execution of test operations by maintaining perimeter security and access control.</li><li>Communicate effectively with range control, test personnel, and security leadership during operations.</li><li>Maintain vigilance in a dynamic and high-risk test environment.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications &amp; Requirements:</h3><ul><li>Must meet the same qualifications as Security Technician I (Gate Access Control role).</li><li>Prior experience in security guard, military, or restricted-access environments preferred.</li><li>Secret Clearance is mandatory.</li><li>Ability to work night shifts, extended hours, and rapidly deploy on short notice.</li><li>Strong situational awareness and ability to operate in a team-based security environment.</li><li>Physical ability to stand, patrol, and operate in outdoor test range conditions.</li></ul><h3>Equal Opportunity Employer </h3>E-Logic is an Equal Opportunity Employer and considers all applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other protected characteristic in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
