The IT SME for ServiceNow will be a technical expert responsible for overseeing, enhancing, and managing the full lifecycle of the BEA's ServiceNow platform. This includes administration, workflow development, module integration, and performance tuning. The SME will ensure system reliability across development, test, and production environments, providing architectural and advisory support to align the platform with the BEA's operational needs. Responsibilities: <ul><li>Administer the ServiceNow platform, including Dev, Test, and Production environments.</li><li>Lead operations and maintenance of core ServiceNow workloads, such as Configuration Items (CI) Discovery runs, Change Management, Common Code Repository, Service Mapping, and Procurement Workflow.</li><li>Oversee upgrades for platform components and individual ServiceNow modules (ITSM, HRSD, Creator Workflows).</li><li>Administer and maintain platform features like Service Portal and API integrations.</li><li>Ensure compliance with federal IT policies and security requirements.</li><li>Provide architectural advisory support, including design reviews and optimization planning.</li><li> </li></ul>Skills/Experience: <ul><li>5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow administration and development experience, including module integration and platform upgrades.</li><li>Deep understanding of ServiceNow architecture, configuration management, and enterprise integration.</li><li>Strong experience with CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping.</li><li>Familiarity with scripting in ServiceNow (Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, ACLs).</li><li>Experience with API integrations and enterprise system connectors.</li><li>Knowledge of federal compliance requirements such as FedRAMP is preferred.</li><li>ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification is preferred.</li></ul> Important Notice:&nbsp;This role is part of a proposal for the Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA).
